Damaraland Elephant Camp

Damaraland Camp is located on the north face of the Huab River Valley, approximately fifty five miles inland from Torra Bay on Namibia’s Skeleton Coast. The vistas combine stark contrasts of vast plains, grand valleys, and soaring peaks. The river flows only once or twice during the rainy season, which dictates the movement and cycles of rare and endangered Desert Elephant, Black Rhinoceros, Oryx, Kudu, Springbok and other species that have adapted to the desert environment. Damaraland Camp consists of eight comfortable walk-in tents, each with valley views, en suite bathrooms and roomy verandahs. An added feature of this camp is its exquisite rock swimming pool.

Wolvedans

Nestled amidst the dunes surrounding the NamibRand Nature Reserve, the Wolwedans Dune Camp offers a rustic desert experience. The camp consists of six accommodation units and the lapa area where guests meet for sundowners, dinner and breakfast. The entire camp is constructed on wooden platforms and overlooks panoramic vistas in all directions. Guests stay in comfortable tents furnished with standard beds, bedside tables, and a suitcase rack. Each unit has a private veranda and an en-suite bathroom fitted with hot shower, washbasin and flush toilet. All lighting throughout the tent is provided by solar power. The lapa opens out onto a veranda with a superb view of the surroundings and consists of a lounge, dining area and an open-plan kitchen. Spacious decks provide a relaxed atmosphere for socializing or star gazing.
