The Republic of Congo (also known simply  as ‘Congo’) is an incredible, tropical paradise of flora and fauna. and  adventurous  travelers to this smaller, peaceful and lesser-known country, are rewarded with magnificent scenery complete with lush rain forests, breathtaking waterfalls, hidden lagoons, and towering volcanic mountains. This wilderness contains a profusion of fascinating wildlife including over half of the world’s lowland gorilla population, nuemerous forest elephants,  the elusive bongo,  and swinging troops of chimpanzees.
