Covid 19 Update

Traveling Now: Our Covid 19 Update

What an unprecedented, challenging and eventful time this pandemic has been for so many around the world. The profound impact of COVID-19 continues to reverberate globally. At Africa Travel Centre, the safety and well-being of our travelers is always our number one priority.

Beginning in March of 2020, we helped many of our travelers navigate their way back home amidst uncertainty. Since then, we have been working hard to reschedule all affected trips to future dates. We cannot thank our travelers enough for their graciousness, patience, and flexibility throughout this process.

Now, with vaccinations on the rise and countries in Africa reopening their borders, we work closely with our local partners to understand the new safety protocols and visualize what travel will look like in the coming months. We welcome the implementation of broad innovative safety measures which allow people to explore the world again.

Our thoughts continue to be with those in Africa whose livelihoods depend on the travel dollars generated by the safari industry. So many have sacrificed and have gone to extraordinary lengths to keep their doors open while supporting the staff who make safari magic happen. Their dedication and tenacity are inspirational. We are confident that travel will prove to be extremely resilient, and the 2021/2022 season will be one of steady rebuilding.

We are actively booking trips for 2022 and beyond while still working with those traveling in 2021, guiding guests through evolving regulations and logistics. We vigilantly monitor each country and will always prioritize the well-being and safety of our travelers above all else. If you have any questions or would like to speak with us about a scheduled trip or one that you are considering, we are always here for you.
